Running away from home was sure to cause a scandal. But Elizabeth Bennet could not bear the thought of marrying a man she did not love. A marriage which her mother was forcing upon her. Anything was better than that!
Mr. Darcy too was in full flight from a very aggressive Caroline Bingley who wanted to marry him. Somehow he persuaded Elizabeth to pose as his cousin to protect him from that woman. But the impromptu charade would lead to disaster...unless love could prove that one's proper place was determined not by one's station, but by the heart's true desire.
