Maude Rogers is sassy, savvy, and sure of one thing. Criminals, especially murderers deserve a fair trial, but no special consideration. She believes that it is her job to find clues leading to the capture of the scum of the earth--those who kill innocent people. Through three stand-alone novels, Maude bemoans her arthritic knees as she chases criminals and brings them to justice. One particular fellow keeps showing up in too many places, but his end is sight also.
Great reviews speak to the plot twists and Maude's spunky character that lend credence to the statement that there's nothing like a a good mystery to grab a reader's interest.
If you like murder laced with an occasional touch of humor, try this collection on for size.
